If you have a primary domain and several secondary domains, it's essential to set up redirects from the secondary domains to your main website. This helps improve your reputation and deliverability, which is crucial for SEO and overall user experience. In this guide, I'll show you how to set up redirects on GoDaddy, one of the major domain registrars. For other registrars, you can find links to guides at the end of the article.

GoDaddy

Step 1: Log in to your GoDaddy account

Go to GoDaddy and log in to your account.

Step 2: Go to your domain list

In the "My Products" menu, select "Domains" and find the domain you want to redirect.

Step 3: Set up the redirect

Click on the "Edit DNS" button next to your domain.

Navigate from the "DNS records" tab to the "Forwarding" section.

In the "Forwarding" section, click "Add Forwarding".

In the "Type" dropdown, select "Permanent (301)". Enter your primary domain in the "Destination URL" field.

Click "Save".

Other Registrars
