In this article, we'll delve into how to interpret information from the Inbox Insights tests.

Inbox Insights is a multifunctional tool for checking deliverability across different ESPs in real-time. With this test, you can assess your deliverability before starting your campaigns or test your future templates to choose the best ones.

The Inbox Insights dashboard can be divided into 4 main blocks. Let's walk through each of them and understand the information they provide.

Starting with the primary block numbered 1, here you can see:

  • your overall Inbox Insights Score, which takes into account factors such as your inbox rate, the number of blacklists, IP Score, and DNS correctness

  • on the right side of the Inbox Insights Score, you can see the inbox rate

Inbox rate - the percentage of spam to inbox. A higher percentage indicates that more mailboxes reached the inbox folder during the test.

Below the inbox rate panel, you can see the high-spam ESPs panel, which shows the ESPs where your emails landed in spam according to the test.

The following block is the second block, named Domain Health, where you can find comprehensive information about your domain in the Domain WHOIS information section. You can also check a crucial aspect of deliverability: your domain's DNS settings.

The "View details" button provides WHOIS information about your domain. A Whois record contains all of the contact information associated with the person, group, or company that registers a particular domain name.
DNS settings include SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records. These records are crucial as they significantly impact deliverability, spam prevention, and domain score.

The drop-down arrow tabs show how your records look.

Next is the main block, numbered 3, which is the Delivery report. Here, you can see which folders your emails landed in, expand each ESP, and view detailed information.

On the right side, you can find the percentages showing the spam folder rate, other rates (such as the promotional folder rate), and the inbox rate.

More detailed information from different ESPs can be found below.

The drop-down arrow tabs provide more detailed information about the names of the test mailboxes and the folders where your mail ended up.

Moving on to block number 4, which is IP Insights. In this block, you can view your pool of IP addresses and analyze their Sender Score and blacklist status.

The "View Details" tab redirects you to information about the blacklists your domain is listed on. Additionally, there is a button with instructions on how to be delisted from these blacklists.
