To leverage from Rackspace multi-cloud solutions, emailing capabilities, and features, you may want to connect to Folderly for maintenance procedures.

The connection process will consist of two steps: SMTP credentials allocation in the Rackspace email settings, and domain connection with Folderly.

First, you need to obtain SMTP Login and SMTP Password for your Rackspace sender email account:

  • SMTP Login is your Rackspace-created email for your domain;

  • SMTP Password is a password for Rackspace-created email for your domain.

To check which mailboxes you can use, or create a new mailbox for the domain on the Rackspace control panel page open the Rackspace Email page (1). Here, you can find a list of mailboxes created for your domain. You can use one of these mailboxes for Folderly integration, or create a new one.

If you want to create a new mailbox, click the Add mailbox button (2) and fill in the required fields (3). Make note of username (full address with @ and domain) and password will be SMTP Login and SMTP Password for connection with Folderly.

Now, go to your Folderly user cabinet. To connect a domain and mailbox with Folderly, on the home page click the [Add Email] button and select "Rackspace" in the service providers list.

  1. Enter the email address for sending, found on the Rackspace Email page, in the "SMTP login" field.

  2. Enter the password for this email in the "SMTP password" field.

Click the [Continue] button.

Fill in the fields:

  • "Sender name" β€” company or your name. Appears in the 'From' field of the recipient's mailbox.

  • "Email address" β€” Rackspace Sender Email, used for marketing campaigns;

Click the [Add email] button to connect your mailbox. Now you can set up an email template, and start using Folderly.
